|Preceeded By||Arrival Of The Hiverax|
|Followed By||The Escape Of The Imperiaz|
When Team Stax is sent to an island location in search of Kairu, they soon realize they’re not alone. And although they initially think they are being joined by the usual E-Teens, they quickly discover that it’s Ekayon who is with them, also in search of the energy. Joining forces, the four of them begin scouring the island, while Maya brings Ekayon up to speed on the recent shadow Kairu phenomenon. But before their quest progresses too far, Ekayon suddenly and mysteriously goes missing (unbeknownst to our gang he’s assaulted by a creeping vine that pulls him into the shadows). When Ekayon turns up again, Boomer and Maya are happy to see that he’s okay. Ky, on the other hand, instantly grows suspicious. Especially when Ekayon begins to behave strangely. Not only does he start to act mean and aggressive, he also seems to want to get to the Kairu energy before his friends do. And when Team Stax confronts Ekayon, he immediately issues a challenge. And as our heroes suddenly finds themselves battling their friend, Ekayon launches a shadow attack, completely surprising our gang and defeating them before he takes off. Things take a turn for the worse when Boomer and Maya are also immersed in the shadow-Kairu-filled lagoon, and Ky (with some help from his shadow monster Direwolf) must battle not only for the energy but for the return of his friends to the side of good! When Team Stax is sent to an island location in search of Kairu, they not only discover their friend Ekayon – but they also discover the dark influences of shadow Kairu!
