Tournament Of The Kairu Cube is the fourteenth episode of season 2 in Redakai: Conquer the Kairu. It was first shown (in French) on Canal J sometime in 2012. It aired April 13th 2013 on Cartoon Network and aired on 2nd July 2013 on CITV in the UK.

When Baoddai senses another ancient Kairu deposit, he knows it can only be one thing -- the second part of the Kairu Cube! Team Stax is psyched to try and get to it first, knowing that if they do, they will receive bonuses going into the next tournament. But as they begin their quest, they soon realize they’re not the only ones in the hunt. Team Hiverax and Team Imperiaz are also seeking out the other half of the Kairu Cube. Luckily, Ky gets to it before they do. And when the two halves are fused together, the RedaKai appear and the Kairu Cube expands to arena-sized proportions. It’s once again tournament time! And to the delight of Team Stax, Ky (who is chosen to compete along with Teeny, Vexus and Zane) is able to borrow any X-Drive from Maya and Boomer’s X-Readers. And as the event gets underway, things are looking good for Ky as he easily beats Teeny. Unfortunately, things swiftly go downhill after that when, after Zane defeats Vexus, Lokar appears and makes his presence known to all – and demands to take part in the proceedings. And when the RedaKai cannot deny him, Baoddai opts to enter the tournament as well. In the end, Lokar defeats Ky and Zane defeats Baoddai. But instead of Zane and Lokar battling in the final round, Zane concedes defeat to his Master – not only getting back in his good graces, but also allowing Lokar to capture Palladion, Baoddai’s signature monster! Ky, Maya and Boomer find the second half of the Kairu Cube… leading to an exciting, unusual, and game-changing tournament!

  • This is the first tournament where the Masters battle warriors.
  • Vexus appeared to be scared when battling Zane because he stated that he thinks he is a weak opponent without his brothers to back him up, however, when Vexus first appeared in the show he took on Team Stax alone with no problem.
